A Day For The Beaches is an all ages drug and alcohol free community event, bursting with live music, local art, markets, food trucks and more, taking over Narrabeen’s Rat Park in Sydney on Saturday 16 November. Curated by Northern Beaches natives Ocean Alley, the event will raise money and awareness for local charities including Cerebral Palsy Alliance, a charity close to the band that they have supported over the years.
In 2018, the band donated $2 from ticket sales after two Sydney shows and launched a campaign encouraging donations from friends and fans, which saw them raise close to $20,000 for the charity. Furthermore, they have long been supporters of the twenty/20 challenge.
In 2019, funds raised via ‘A Day For The Beaches’ will support the Babies at Risk program to help ensure babies at risk of cerebral palsy are given the very best start to life.
