Help connect vulnerable families with the support they urgently need using video technology.
In 2015, the Robberds family celebrated the life of their daughter Gabby by hosting the 'Raising a Smile' gala dinner to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA). It is with huge sadness that the 2020 Gala Dinner has to be postponed - but whilst we might not be able to come together at the event this May, we can still (virtually) come together to make a difference.
Please join us in 'Raising a Smile' this year by making a donation to Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
Through these uncertain times, CPA remains committed to keeping their lights on for people living with a disability. To protect those who are most vulnerable and, CPA is accelerating the roll out of a technology-enabled video-call service - CPA Telepractice - which will ensure people living with a disability can acess vital services from the safety of their homes.
Connecting families to CPA Telepractice during these times will not only help maintain their health, but will help maintain their independence, and connectedness too.
Unfortunately, some families are currently missing out on vital therapy as they don't have the necessery technology and equipment to access CPA Telepractice. Missing regular, individually tailored therapy sessions can mean additional complications and needless pain for people living with a disability.
Your donation today can help purchase Telepractice Support Kits to immediately connect people living with a disability to their therapists.
Each Telepractice Support Kit will be tailored to the needs of the individual family. A kit may include a tablet, relevant Apps to support therapy delivery, relevant switch toys and devices for therapy delivery and training with a therapist to use that technology.
Thank you for helping these families access life changing therapy from the safety of their homes.
