Avas Christmas Wonderland

I'm supporting those with cerebral palsy!

Our Daughter Ava was born as a micro prem at just 29 weeks gestation. She spent a long 12 weeks in hospital before coming home and had countelss tests transfusions in hopsital to help her grow and develop a brain scan revealed at a few weeks old that she had some haziness on the brain. We believed this would fade away and eventually our little Ava would come home and everything would be fine. Thrpughout her checkups as a early prem baby it was discovered she had tight muscles then they started to suspect does she have Cerabal Palsy through her Physio sessions upon seeing a Professor who specialises in Children with Cerebal Palsy who diagnosed her with this condition. Cerebal Palsy can be at many different great severities but thankfulky our little Ava was on the very mild end and should be able to still do everything every other child does including walking and running but many children are unlucky and have it far worse then this and are paralysed as the nerves in there brain wont send the muscles a signal to bend or move and they are stuck in a wheelchair and may never get to walk. Our little Ava was delayed in this amd still has soke trouble but thankfully she can walk and run but still falls over regularly as the brain sent a delayed message to the muscles. I hope to be able to contribute and find raise money to finding a cure and cause for Cerebal Palsy which is becoming more common now and prevalent then ever before and the earlier a child is born which these numbers are now increasing increases the chance of having a child with Cerebal Palsy by 70% as the baby's development in the womb is very crucial and the development of the brain in getting oxygen and everything it needs, i would greatly appreciate your support in helping me raise vital funds to help families children hospitals in need for care treatment amd vital research preventionwnd hopefully one day a cure in Cerebal Palsy. I am excited to be making a real difference to the lives of young people and adults living with cerebral palsy. Please help me raise as much as I can! All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will receive a tax receipt via email. Together we can make a difference!
