Sienna’s big walk for cerebral palsy

I'm supporting those with cerebral palsy!

Hi, my name is sienna Budden and I’m 11 years old. 

I am raising money and awareness for people living with cerebral palsy. 

In September I will be walking from Queanbeyan to Batemans bay. This will take 5 days and we will be camping out at night. 

My mum’s friend had a son who was born with Cerebral Palsy because of a stroke he had in the womb. His name was Tyrone and he was my friend. 

Tyrone passed away in 2019 when he was 18 years old and I think about him all the time. I have always wanted to do something to help people just like him but never really knew were to start.

Tyrone was a funny, cheeky person who didn’t let his condition stop him from doing everything he wanted!! That’s why I know I can walk all the way to Batemen’s Bay to raise money for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. 

They looked after Tyrone for many years and helped him with so many things. His favourite thing was the big yellow wheelchair that was made especially for him that made it easier for him to get around.

Now I want to give back to the organisation that did so much to help my friend and people just like him because people with CP are awesome!!
